Sisal is a natural fiber that is produced from the long leaves of the Agave Sisalana succulent plant that looks very similar to a Cactus, a renewable resource with an average lifespan of 8 years. When the Agave Sisalana plant stops producing leaves a it sprouts a central flower stalk with buds that become the the next generation of Agave Sisalana plants. These mats are thick and hard wearing and look great.
